XM: A brand of tactical knives owned by the Ontario Knife company and manufactured in Italy.
Xtreme: A brand of tactical knives owned by the Ontario Knife company and manufactured in Italy.
XX: A registered trademark found on Case knives and its packaging. It signifies that the tempering of the blade has been checked and approved on two separate occasions.
X55CrMo14: A type of stainless steel often used by Victorinox for the blades on their Swiss Army Knives. Composition is: 15% chromium 0.60% silicon 0.52% carbon 0.50% molybdenum.
